IOS and Android apps real-time tours
The Heidelberg Project – one of Detroit’s most iconic landmarks – is an outdoor installation serving to improve the lives of people through art. To open this rich experience to the rest of the world, we used React Native and Firebase to create an app that guides users through a unique tour of the site leveraging virtual reality, 3D capture and GPS technology.
We continue to work with the Heidelberg Project to capture art using photogrammetry to turn three dimensional works into 3D models for use in virtual and augmented reality, both preserving the work and creating a way to bring this unique community to the rest of the world.
